About iSOKO
iSOKO started with a simple finding: across Africa, women and youth traders struggled to reach new markets, find reliable trade information, and go digital. Most operated informally — relying on word of mouth, and losing time and money to slow logistics, financing gaps, and confusing border rules.
TradeMark Africa built iSOKO to close those gaps. The platform brings trade information, e-commerce, logistics, and business tools together in one place, so traders can move from informal trading to running a digital business — openly, and across borders.
Since launching in March 2023, iSOKO has grown to 100,000+ registered traders, with over 70% women and youth-led. The platform runs in partnership with leading trade associations and chambers of commerce in each of its seven countries.
